SoDMA Sends Aid to Clan Clash Victims

The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) announced plans to deliver aid to victims of clan clashes in Wanlaweyn district, Lower Shabelle. Chairman Mahamud Ma’alin said the conflict has created a humanitarian crisis and ordered the immediate mobilization of tents, medicine, food, and clothing. He urged the federal and South West State governments, along with community elders, to end the fighting and warned that continued violence would worsen the nation’s drought and security challenges.
