Kenya’s electric vehicle innovator, Roam, launched a tech-focused crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube, inviting public investors to support its expansion into clean mobility. The Nairobi-based firm, known for designing and assembling electric motorcycles locally, aims to scale up EV adoption across Africa. Its Roam Park plant in Kenya produces up to 50,000 units annually, powered by renewable energy. With partnerships including Bolt and DHL, Roam integrates advanced battery-swapping and smart charging technologies.
