Tanzania Maps Development Vision 2050

The National Planning Commission (NPC) convened over 100 experts in Arusha to discuss the Fourth Five-Year Development Plan (FYDP IV) and strategies to achieve Vision 2050. Participants identified national priorities, defined research agendas, and outlined funding needs for implementation. Dr. Blandina Kilama highlighted the plan’s role in guiding Tanzania toward a one trillion-dollar economy by 2050. Execution of FYDP IV is scheduled to begin in July 2026.
