Smart Zambia Connects Local Authorities

Smart Zambia connected all 116 local authorities to the government’s area-wide network, advancing the country’s digital transformation. Director Paison Chikoye said the agency linked district offices, health centers, schools, and other agencies over the past two years. The government deployed more than 500 Starlink kits to reach remote areas. Officials will showcase these developments at the Digital Africa 2025 Summit in Lusaka.
