SBAN Launches Startups for Investors

The Serengeti Business Angels Network (SBAN) launched two startups, Borderless and Ghala, to link Tanzanian entrepreneurs with local and diaspora investors. Borderless provides digital infrastructure for diaspora investment and cross-border payments, while Ghala offers an AI-powered commerce platform that allows small businesses to manage sales and inventory via WhatsApp. SBAN says both initiatives address structural challenges in Africa’s economy by providing capital, mentorship, and strategic support to high-impact startups.
