Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held bilateral meetings during the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit in Kampala to strengthen economic, political, and multilateral cooperation. He met with leaders from Uganda, Palestine, Algeria, Belarus, and others, reaffirming Iran’s commitment to expanding ties and supporting Palestine’s right to self-determination. Araghchi and several counterparts condemned unilateralism and agreed to enhance coordination within NAM. Iran and Uganda also pledged to advance joint economic initiatives.
