Ethiopia, Romania Boost Cooperation

Ethiopia and Romania agreed to strengthen bilateral relations during a meeting between State Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Hadera Abera and Romania’s State Minister Clara Staicu in Addis Ababa. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in trade, education, technology, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. Both sides underscored collaboration in capacity building, peace, and stability in the Horn of Africa. They also committed to deepening economic ties through regular political consultations and joint development initiatives.
