Nordic Talks Focus on Energy and Peace

Foreign Minister Gedion Timothewos met Norway’s Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide and Denmark’s State Secretary for Foreign Policy Lotte Machon in Addis Ababa. They discussed Ethiopia’s clean energy and afforestation programs, regional peace, and Nordic investment opportunities. Gedion highlighted Ethiopia’s strong ties with both countries and stressed the need to expand cooperation in sustainable development and promote stability across the Horn of Africa.
