IG Orders Police to Monitor Incitement

Inspector General of Police Graphael Musamba instructed all officers to be on high alert and conduct intelligence-led policing following a Facebook post calling for countrywide Patriotic Front (PF) demonstrations. Musamba said the post, titled “PF to Begin Countrywide Demonstrations Until State Gives Back PF”, could incite public disorder. He warned that organizing or spreading unlawful protests would be treated as a criminal offense. Citizens were urged to avoid sharing unverified information and report suspicious activities.
