Kasaija Launches MSC Job Creation Plan

Finance Minister Matia Kasaija praised the Microfinance Support Center for advancing job creation and wealth generation through inclusive financial services. At the launch of its 2025–2030 strategic plan, the Center outlined goals to create over one million jobs, support 9,000 clients, and strengthen 2,824 savings and credit cooperatives. Kasaija emphasized the importance of affordable credit, improved Sacco governance, and investment culture to drive Uganda’s grassroots economic transformation and financial inclusion.
