Two Kenyan activists, Bob Njagi and Nicholas Oyoo, were reportedly abducted in Uganda while attending opposition leader Bobi Wine’s campaign event. Wine said the activists were taken from a petrol station to an unknown location. Rights groups, including Amnesty International Kenya and the Law Society of Kenya, called on Ugandan authorities to ensure their safety. The incident follows other regional cases of enforced disappearances involving opposition figures and activists, prompting calls for government accountability.
