NCP Withdraws From Tonse Alliance

The New Congress Party (NCP) withdrew from the Tonse Alliance, citing greed, disunity, and lack of consultation among alliance members. NCP leader Peter Chanda stated the party would contest the 2026 elections independently, ending its role as the alliance’s designated lead vehicle.
