The Nigerian government deployed Technical Aid Corps volunteers, including professors and lecturers, to Uganda to help strengthen education and support development goals. Technical Aid Corps Director-General Yusuf Yakub said the move aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s 4-D foreign policy, promoting soft power diplomacy. The volunteers, selected from about 10,000 applicants, will serve for two years, teaching and contributing to education and economic growth in their host countries.
