ODM Warns Against Early Ruto Politics

ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna cautioned party members against using the November by-elections to campaign for President William Ruto. Speaking in Mombasa, Sifuna said ODM has not yet decided its 2027 presidential strategy and warned against chants of “two-term” at rallies. He also dismissed calls to welcome Ruto back into the party, saying ODM’s democratic and human rights values are incompatible with the current regime’s governance record.
