Leak Alleges Plot on VP Chiwenga

A leaked intelligence document alleged that a Belarusian-linked operative, codenamed BEDROCK, was contracted to target Zimbabwe’s Vice President Constantino Chiwenga. The report, marked “Top Secret,” claimed $100,000 was transferred through an offshore trust with Belarusian ties. The disclosure surfaced amid internal divisions within Zanu-PF over President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s succession. Justice Minister Ziyambi Ziyambi recently accused Chiwenga of treason. Authorities in Zimbabwe, Belarus, and the US have not confirmed or commented on the document.
