Rwamirama Urges Youth to Farm Poultry

Ugandan youths were encouraged to explore opportunities in the poultry sector during the World Egg Day Expo at Old Kampala Secondary School. State Minister for Animal Industry Bright Rwamirama highlighted poultry’s role in job creation, nutrition, and agribusiness growth, noting that over 5.2 million households rear poultry. The event showcased modern farming techniques and technologies, aiming to equip young entrepreneurs with skills, financing, and market access to expand poultry production and profitability.
