World Bank Launches Zambia Digital Plan

The World Bank approved the $100 million Digital Zambia Acceleration Project (DZAP) to expand internet access and promote inclusive digital services. The project aims to empower women, youth, persons with disabilities, and underserved communities by improving access to e-government, education, health, and agriculture services. DZAP also aims to strengthen broadband infrastructure, digital skills development, and enhanced digital governance under the regional Inclusive Digitalization in Eastern and Southern Africa program.
